This is a major sign that these two are not on the same page concerning the relationship! She might we willing to play the part of a commited partner, but she's still making sure she has an escape route for when the time comes.

It's absolutely time to part ways for these two. There isn't anything here that would lead to the kind of healthy, long-term relationship that our protagonist is looking for.

26-year-old woman refuses to delete dating apps despite claiming to want a serious relationship with 29-year-old boyfriend, he refuses to move forward until she does: "I'm competing with a back-up plan"
Who doesn't love a little bit of window shopping? I've never had much of a spending problem, and I think it's because my mom trained me to love visiting shops without buying anything as a child. Sometimes, I take the concept of window shopping even further; I literally carry items I like around the store before going to put them back. Something about being able to hold an object and imagine having it seems to be enough for me to let go of the idea of spending money on it and actually possessing it.
In our story today, a young woman is completely unwilling to give up on her "window shopping" habit on online dating apps. If that sounds super dehumanizing, that's because it is. Not just to the men that she's swiping on, but to her boyfriend that wants to take the relationship to the next level – but only if she can agree to delete the apps.
